The SAFEAERO 223 XXL is a heavy‑duty aircraft de‑icer engineered for winter ground support operations on a wide range of aircraft, including large types. Built in 2011 with a total 14,000 L fluid tank, it carries 6,000 L water, 4,000 L Type I and 2,000 L Type II/IV de‑icing fluids. Its advanced mixing systems allow stepless fluid blending from 4 – 75 % for Type I and fixed ratios for Type II/IV, while the 870 kW diesel heater ensures efficient heated fluid delivery.
